Meet David Phillips

Brand 316 was started by David Phillips after spending nearly 4 years in federal prison. The reality for prisoners is upon release they are given little chance to succeed because of the stigma created by being formerly incarcerated.  

David is the son of Dr. Keith Phillips, the founder of World Impact which is a Christian ministry focused on the inner cities of America.  David grew up as a missionary’s kid and developed a heart for those in need at an early age. 

After spending nearly 4 years in prison, David developed a heart for the people coming out of prison that have very little hope of success in the long-term. 

Prior to incarceration, David founded and was CEO of a large, digital marketing firm based out of Los Angeles.  Growing up a missionary kid, then a successful entrepreneur and then incarceration, gives David a unique perspective on solving the large issue of high recidivism.
