Born into a family deeply rooted in Christian ministry, his father, Dr. Keith Phillips, founding World Impact, an inner-city ministry and his grandfather co-founding World Vision, David's heart for those in need was cultivated from a young age. David is a dynamic and results-oriented executive with a passion for entrepreneurship and social impact projects.
 

David was arrested by federal agents in 2017, facing charges (18 U.S. Code § 1958 - Use of interstate commerce facilities in the commission of murder-for-hire) that would forever alter his life. David maintained his innocence and refused to consider a plea deal that required him to admit to something he did not do, yet offer a significant sentence reduction. Through a tumultuous legal battle marked by injustice and corruption, David found himself incarcerated, navigating the complexities of the criminal justice system firsthand.
 

In prison, amidst the darkness and despair, David discovered a profound relationship with Christ that transcended the confines of his cell.
